Why I Love the Bus

A comic in two frames. Top frame: A cartoon man dressed in a collared shirt listens to earbuds on his phone. He is holding a notebook on his lap. He is on the bus. Outside, the sun is shining and one cloud is in the sky. In the bottom frame, a woman in conservative dress wearing a shapeless hat sits with her daughter. Both have sleepy, pleasant expressions. The girl has short hair and wears a t-shirt with a star on it and a skirt. Both are wearing socks that don’t match. Caption: “The bus is great/ for catching a view/ of amazing moments/ like/ a mother and daughter/ both wearing mismatched socks/ sharing a tender embrace/ on a sleepy sun-baked afternoon/ keep your eyes open.”
